The new studies on Fishing and Marine Tourism of the Ministry of Education aim to develop the professional training necessary for anyone, especially professional fishermen, to be able to provide fishing tourism services on boats and marine tourism on land, such as visits to fish markets or fishing ports.
This course, which has been approved by the Spanish Ministry of Education and of which Pepe Martínez, CEO of Pescaturismo, has formed part of the small group of experts that has participated in its preparation, falls within the professional qualifications of Hospitality and Tourism and It aims to promote diversification in the world of fishing and provide new job opportunities for fishermen or other people interested in the blue economy.
